Position Title: Individual Giving Program Manager

Essential Duties: The full-time Individual Giving Manager is a salaried exempt position and reports to the Director of Development. The position leads LULAC partnership and individual giving programs. Responsibility includes to identifying and cultivating individual donors at all giving level. This position is responsible for the execution and management LULAC comprehensive annual giving programs, including the coordination and oversight of development services, donor relations, partnerships, and strategic mini campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Anual Giving
• Develop annual plan for recruiting, maintaining and growing a robust annual giving program.
• Collaborate with Director of Communications to create campaigns and solicitation strategies involving social media, phone and face-to-face visits.
• Support, and assist, when necessary, gift entry and reconcile totals with CFO.
• Prepare monthly reports and dashboards for gift activities, and events.
• Formulate and prepare mailing lists for development and event correspondence.
• Generate acknowledgement letters for all individual donations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of correspondence, tracking signing, mailing, and electronic filing of copies.
• Assist the Communications Director in creation of Individual Giving Report.
Donor Cultivation
• Manage portfolio of annual donors and assist with partnership and donor cultivation
• Help to identify prospects through database analytics and donor engagement.
• Assist in planning and executing major fundraising events and programs designed to cultivate partnerships and donors.
Other Activities:
• Assist with data management and donor outreach for the annual fundraising goals
• Support the C-level staff in sending timely information to board members and other tasks as assigned.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
• Permanent full-time position, ability to work evening and weekends.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Education or related fields
Experience:
• Minimum of five years’ work experience in development.
Desired Skills
• Excellent computer skills, specifically MS Office and donor management software
• Be well versed in the use of social media for development purposes.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Motivated initiative-taker who understands the culture of a non-profit organization.
• Ability to build rapport with donors, volunteers, and the public with diplomacy, discretion, and customer-service orientation, both in person and on the phone.
• Ability to thrive and work effectively as part of a small team in a fast-paced and rapidly growing program, with limited instruction.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects, be productive in the face of distraction, meet deadlines and problem-solve.
