In response to an opinion issued by the Arizona Attorney General, LULAC National President Roger C. Rocha, Jr. issued the following statement:

Today in U.S v. Texas, an equally divided U.S. Supreme Court left in place an appeals court ruling blocking the implementation of President Obama’s expanded executive action programs that would have granted over 4 million people work authorization and temporary relief from deportation.

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) will host its 87th Annual National Convention from July 12 to July 16 at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Today, in response to a new directive from the Obama administration stating that schools must allow students to use the facility that corresponds to their gender identity, LULAC National President Roger C. Rocha, Jr. issued the following statement.

LULAC condemns recently announced plans to conduct raids searching for undocumented individuals from Central America.
