Born and Raised in Sonora Mexico. Immigrated to the U.S. in 1996. Joined the Army in 2001, served in 2, 12 month combat deployments to Iraq in 2003 and 2005 before leaving the military in 2006. Currently serving on the LULAC National Military & Veterans Legislative Affairs Subcommittee with Crystal Romero. Danitza holds a Masters of Social Work with Military Policy & Programs Specialization
