Virginia Kase Solomón
President and CEO, Common Cause
Virginia Kase Solomón is the President and CEO of Common Cause, where she leads national efforts to build an inclusive democracy and ensure voting rights for all Americans. Originally from Hartford, Connecticut, Virginia’s lifelong commitment to advocacy began in her early 20s when she co-founded a youth-led non-profit to fight for local employment and educational opportunities. Her prolific career includes serving as the CEO of the League of Women Voters and as COO of CASA, where she managed strategic growth and served as a key thought leader on immigrant rights and policy. A graduate of the University of Maryland, she leverages her extensive leadership experience to testify before Congress and provide expert commentary on election administration and civil rights for national news outlets. Today, Virginia continues to drive systemic change as a leader in organizations like the Leadership Conference for Civil and Human Rights, bridging the gap between high-level policy advocacy and grassroots community organizing.
