Nidia Bandstra

Director, Geico

Nidia Bandstra is the Director for Commercial Lines for GEICO's Katy, Texas office. In this role she is responsible for delivering best in class products and services to small business owners around the country while also developing Talent within her organization.

Since joining GEICO in 1998, Nidia has held numerous roles including Training, Operations Management, Project Management and Local Agency Leader for Specialty & Homeowner Lines. Her experience includes partnership management, talent development, strategic planning and high impact communication.

Nidia has a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Latin America & Sub-Saharan Africa from the University of Mary Washington, where she also obtained her MBA.
