ABOUT LULAC AND THE NATIONAL CONVENTION
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is the nation’s largest and oldest civil rights volunteer-based organization that empowers Hispanic Americans and builds strong Latino communities.
Headquartered in Washington, DC, with 525 councils and 145,000 members around the United States and Puerto Rico, LULAC’s programs, services and advocacy address the most important issues for Latinos, meeting critical needs of today and the future.
The LULAC National convention brings together Latino leaders from across the country to share critical information to address the biggest challenges facing the Latino community. LULAC’s largest networking event of the year brings together elected officials, policy makers, thought leaders, community leaders, and LULAC Members to share their expertise to support and uplift Latino communities across the country
The overarching theme for the LULAC National Convention is Diverse Roots, Shared Dreams. Whether you are a U.S. born Latino, a naturalized citizen, or a newly arrived immigrant, we share the same hopes and dreams as a community
