ABOUT LULAC AND THE NATIONAL CONVENTION
The League of United Latin American Citizens—LULAC—is the oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization in the United States. For nearly a century, LULAC has been driven by one mission: to empower Latinos and build stronger, more resilient Latino communities.
With more than 535 councils and over 325,000 members across the country and in Puerto Rico, LULAC is a force for advocacy, service, and action—meeting the urgent needs of today while shaping the future for generations to come.
The LULAC National Convention is where that mission comes to life. It’s our largest gathering of the year—a space where Latino leaders, elected officials, policymakers, and advocates come together to take on the most pressing challenges facing our community. It’s more than a conference—it’s a strategic convening of those shaping the future of Latino America.
This year’s theme is Diverse Roots, Shared Dreams. Whether you were born here, became a citizen, or recently arrived—we carry the same hopes, the same fight, and the same dream: to build a future where all of us have a voice, and none of us are left behind.
