ABOUT LULAC AND THE NATIONAL CONVENTION

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is the oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization in the United States. For nearly a century, LULAC has worked to empower Latino communities and expand opportunity. From fighting school segregation to defending voting rights and expanding access to education, LULAC has helped drive civil rights progress for Latino communities across the country.

Today, LULAC includes more than 450 councils and more than 570,000 members across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Together they form a nationwide network working to confront the challenges facing Latino families and to open doors for the next generation.

The LULAC National Convention is where leaders from across the country come together to set priorities, exchange ideas, and organize the work ahead.
